Successful Community Outreach

The Community Outreach by Eye Physicians and Surgeons in November and December was a rewarding experience.  Our staff and physicians filled 17 stockings for the Salvation Army stocking drive.  These were given to Wilmington's families in need so these children in Wilmington would not feel left out at Christmas or on the Holiday of their tradition.  Even though we didn't personally witness the children receiving their stockings, staff knew that their sacrificial giving of time and money would be worthwhile.

We also participated in the Marines' Toys for Tots program by being a drop off location for these items.  Our patients and families also had opportunity to participate in this endeavor.  We are proud to say that we filled a box with toys for this  admirable endeavor.

On the other side of the picture, staff enjoyed a wonderful treat by having their Holiday Party hosted by our Physicians at Buckley's Tavern.  A wonderful meal, libation, and time for friendship was enjoyed by all.
