Dr Denh Tuyen lectures on Advanced Technology Scleral Contact Lenses at Pennsylvania College of Optometry

Scleral Contact Lenses are an advanced technology for the treatment of corneal disorders including ocular surface disease, irregular astigmatisn, degenerative disease and other disorders.  They can also provide outstanding vision in patients with more typical refractive disorders including myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness) and astigmatism.  Dr Tuyen is one of only a handful of optometrists in the region fitting these lenses.  She is a regular clinical consultant at Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she also teaches students and residents, and was invited to lecture on this advanced topic.
