A new and exciting responsibility has been placed upon EPS physician, Dr. Carolyn Glazer-Hockstein. Just last week she was elected to the position of President of the Delaware Academy of Ophthalmology (DAO). The academy made this announcement Tuesday, April 11, 2017 when the remainder of elected officers was also released. Two other elected officials are also from EPS and they include Dr. Paula C. Ko, Secretary/Treasurer and Dr. Jeffrey B. Minkovitz, Representative-at-Large.
This willingness to serve demonstrates commitment to their profession and therefore their patients. Being part of a professional organization promotes knowledgte, growth, and quality care ~ being an officer in such an organization carries a heavier responsibility and accountability.
