Achieve 20/20 Vision with PRK
Dr. Minkovitz performs photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) out of our cutting-edge surgery center in Wilmington, DE. PRK is a refractive surgery that uses a laser to reshape the cornea, correcting nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism. Dr. Minkovitz recommends PRK over LASIK because it does not involve the creation of a corneal flap, making it safer for your eye, and because more patients can qualify for PRK.

Advanced Treatment for Macular Degeneration
Macular degeneration is an eye condition in which the macula, which is responsible for your straight-ahead vision, slowly deteriorates over time. Macular degeneration is most prevalent in patients over 65. While there is no cure for macular degeneration, the advanced treatments available from our optometrists and ophthalmologists can slow the progression of the condition.
We offer multiple treatments for macular degeneration, including thermal laser photocoagulation, photodynamic therapy, and injections.

Dr. Minkivitz transformed my life by creating my best most outstanding vision ever. Suddenly I'm not getting lost on the streets--because now I can SEE to read street signs clearly, even at great distance. As a result, this area has finally come into perspective...
View On GoogleThe services, ranging from staff, technicians, physicians' assistants, and physicians, were of very high quality. The services provided were better than those of any other eye physicians I have experienced. I would recommend Eye Physicians and Surgeons, without qualification, to anyone.
