With over 25 years of experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Neil S. Kalin is a board-certified Ophthalmologist committed to delivering exceptional care to his patients. Following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Joshua Kalin, who established an esteemed ophthalmology practice in Newark, DE in 1967, Dr. Kalin embarked on his own professional journey with a passion for excellence in eye care.

Education & Career Journey

Dr. Kalin's educational path began at Newark High School, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Duke University before earning his medical degree from Emory Medical School. Dr. Kalin's interest in eye care led him to complete his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by additional fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern.

In 1995, Dr. Kalin commenced his professional career in Newark, Delaware, dedicating himself to the well-being of his patients with unwavering precision and compassion. For nearly three decades, he has been a trusted figure in the community, providing comprehensive eye care services.

Professional Transition & Focus

In 2023, Dr. Kalin made the decision to transition to a part-time role, stepping back from surgical procedures to prioritize other aspects of his life. To ensure continuity of care for his valued patients, Kalin Eye Associates joined forces with Eye Physicians and Surgeons, opening new doors for enhanced patient care and professional growth.
