Dr. Ko Goes To Haiti By Eye Physicians and Surgeons, P.A. on April 20, 2015

Dr. Ko doing Eye Screenings in Haiti.

Dr. Ko will be going to Haiti this April with her daughter and her daughter's school.  This is not a vacation type trip; however the journey will be very enriching and rewarding as Dr. Ko will be doing eye screenings there.  Glaucoma and cataracts are among the most common preventable and treatable diseases that Dr. Ko expects to see.

Donations of Reading Glasses and Funds for a School

St. Marc's in Haiti

She will be taking with her a supply of reading glasses, which is a very easy yet much needed donation for individuals in Haiti.  In addition, she is participating in the dedication of a school that was just built by donated funds from the Episcopal Academy in Pennsylvania.

After arriving in Port-Au-Prince on Thursday, she will be driving to Mirebalais to open and operate the Health Clinic from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Friday.  She will then visit a hospital in Mirebalais on Saturday.  Her trip involves all this, as well as everything that goes with accompanying a group of teens and other adults to a foreign land.

Our good thoughts go with you, Dr. Ko!
